Mercenary rush

A rush should be done early, fast and hit the enemy hard. The usual rushes you see out there are hero rushes and tier-1 unit rushes. But there's a way to rush earlier. How?
On many maps you have mercenary camps. Any unit nearby (peon, wisp, ghoul, peasant, whatever …) enables you to hire (buy) mercenaries, foreign soldiers who fight for you. You can buy mercenaries during the first night without being attacked by guarding creeps.
You don't need a barracks or the likes to rush your enemy then. Save your money for the mercenaries.
Additionally to the mercenaries you can buy a neutral hero at the tavern but this requires you to have an altar already.
